Through personalised teaching in a cozy, home-style classroom, we aim to build strong foundations in learning whilte fostering curiosity, confidence and a lifelong love of education.

I’m Aisling, originally from Northern Ireland, but I’ve lived and taught in Devon for over 10 years. I completed my PGCE with Exeter University and have taught in a range of different year groups and schools across Devon since.
After 10 years of teaching in primary schools, I’m taking the leap into my dream job creating a space where children can learn in a cosy, supportive environment while also being present for my own girls who are 2 and 4. My vision is to offer personalised learning that adapts to each child’s unique needs and interests. I want every child to feel confident, understood, and excited about learning -whether that’s through 1:1 sessions or small groups in a nurturing, homely setting.
My aim is to offer learning that is fun, engaging and can be adapted for children who need short, fast-paced tasks. I also want to offer my passion for Early Years, and offer my knowledge and experience to preschool and Reception children so that they are secure and confident at the very beginning of their learning journey. I also want to provde an educational option for home-educated children and support for parents.

I am so thrilled to have discovered The Little Learning Nook. My son is home-educated, but I wanted him to experience a learning setting outside of our usual routine that would specifically help him with his English. The Little Learning Nook has provided him with a lovely, welcoming space and a wonderful teacher who meets his needs in every way I could have hoped. My son absolutely loves attending and tells me every time how much he's enjoyed his sessions.
Really positive experience with The little learning Nook! The sessions are fun and engaging, and my Year 4 child has learned lots of calculations, spellings and writing skills without it feeling like hard work. A great balance of learning and play - highly recommend.
